Bruce Hetzler, magician, performed on July 22

The Muehl Public Library was happy to welcome back magician Bruce Hetzler, of Appleton, for a fun filled evening on Thursday, July 22. Bruce helped us to "Make A Splash" and promoted reading as he did it. (Bruce is a professor of psychology at Lawrence University for his "day job".) The meeting room was full for this event. We send out special thanks to the Outagamie Waupaca Library System (OWLS) for underwriting this fantastic opportunity. Bruce's message is, "There's Magic in Books! Reading is NOT a Vanishing Art." Of course, the librarians loved it when he pulled out a library card as his favorite "card"--please see the accompanying photo!
