Seymour Woman's Club Art Contest works on display at library!

The Seymour Woman's Club Art Contest for middle schoolers was held at the library on Saturday, February 27.  The winning art is posted in the foyer and the remaining art is hung in the library. Once again, art teachers Scott Michalski and Marlys Plinska did a super job of entering very nice pieces. Library welcomes student from Macedonia

We are happy to welcome Marko, an exchange student from Macedonia who is attending Seymour High School and staying with the Madsen family in Seymour. Marko will be volunteering at the library on Wednesday evenings. We will let you know when he will do a presentation for us about his country!  (Looking super in his Packer jersey!)

Unity is a not-for-profit partnership of Bellin Health, St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center and St. Vincent Hospital. Unity is a continuation of the former Bellin Hospice program founded in 1977. Unity provides hospice, palliative care and grief support in twelve counties in Northeast Wisconsin. Unity has offices in the Green Bay area, Marinette, Shawano and Sturgeon Bay.

We are proud to display a Unity quilt in our foyer. There is a code on the back of it which lists all the families/people represented. It is very beautiful. Please stop as you go through the library and give it a good look! There are brochures about Unity available for you to take, also.

Seymour Woman's Club meets at the library 2.8.2010

Seymour Woman's Club MeetingThe Seymour Woman's Club held a nice meeting at the library on the evening of 2.8.2010. There were sixteen members in attendance to learn about the SmartBoard in the library meeting space. The SmartBoard was purchased by FMPL (Friends of the Muehl Public Library). It is an extraordinary technological tool that the library (& others) can use for instructional purposes.
