Finally, a dedicated A.R. look up station at the library!

AR workstation We have been dreaming about this for at least two years so it feels great to finally have accomplished this! Patrons can now look up titles in this Accelerated Reader database to see the level and the point value for each title. We have been fighting with paper binders that were never completely up to date. Using this database means that the patron is guaranteed CURRENT information!! Yippee! Our patrons love the ease of browsing for Accelerated Reader titles in our library. The opportunity to use this database offers patrons PREMIUM service. Big thanks go out to Maggie Waggoner at the Kaukauna Library who donated this computer to us. Also, big thanks to Julie Leopold at the Outagamie Waupaca Library System (OWLS) for preparing this computer to be dedicated. It takes many, many hands to make light work!

Seymour Historical Society Meeting was Monday, April 19, 2010 @ the library!

We had a wonderful evening when local author Lynn Koenings did a presentation about her book, My Corner of the County.

President of the Seymour Historical Society, Bill Collar, led the business meeting and introductions prior to the presentation. The house was packed!
